Applying For Citizenship

Application to Antigua & Barbuda's Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) is simple and convenient. Applicants need not visit Antigua during the application process. In addition to this, there are no mandatory educational or professional requirements. However, the CIP does require that the applicants:

  • Be of outstanding character.
  • Hold no criminal record.
  • Have excellent health.
  • Have a high personal net worth.
  • Reside with the family members who are included in the application in the country for a minimum of 5 days within a period of first 5 years.

The Process For Application And Receiving Citizenship Is As Follows

step 1
  • Applicant signs the Reservation form and
  • Submits Passport copy, along with refundable deposit of US$10,000 against their investment in Callaloo Cay
step 2
  • Callaloo Cay issues a Welcome Letter and Sales Pack towards the applicant
step 3
  • Applicant organizes required documents, signs forms issued within Sales pack
  • Completed file is submitted to Callaloo Cay for counter signatures, along with legal & due diligence fees
step 4
  • Applicant file is submitted to Citizenship Investment Unit (CIU)
step 5
  • Application will be processed within approximately 90 days
  • Upon approval, the applicant will pay outstanding 90% balance of US$190,000 to BDO Escrow account within 7 working days
  • Applicant will also pay necessary Government fees within 7 working days of approval
  • Callaloo Cay will issue share/ownership certificate within 14 working days of receiving

  • Callaloo Cay will submit proof of ownership to Citizenship Investment Unit (CIU)
  • Naturalization certificate will be issued by Government of Antigua & Barbuda

  • Passport will be issued within 30 days
